Can I meet a decent bf in a bar???
Im 25 and single and on the weekends, I usually go out in Philadelphia to some bars with my friends. I don't go to night clubs or the bars the college kids hang out at. I generally go to bars wth people my age or a little older, where the atmosphere is a little more mature and low key than a wild college bar. Everyone tells me "Don't meet guys in a bar...all they want is to sleep with you." However, thats not the case with my guy friends. Theyre a little too old to be doing that. Of course, if it happens, they wouldnt turn a girl away, but its not their main purpose of going out. So, is it possible to meet nice people in bars? Im a nice girl and I go to bars? And if not, where can I meet someone? (BTW, Im not interested in meeting someone online or in church...because I don't go)
Sure you can, you just have to be extra cautious. Personally, though, the bar scene was all bad news for me, met my first husband at one and although we have a beautiful daughter together, he's more a lsoer now than the day I met him.
