We once lazed about the green Blissful pearls and brilliant jewels The finger lock would never loosen Our jewels would never detach The embers never burnt out.. Yet here I am in our field Now empty and frigid Once was our tranquil garden Now a cemetery of our frame Here I freeze without you, Sparrow. My fingers haven't unraveled The embers continue to flicker For I have angst and grief.. No robin nor raven can replace My dearest Sparrow. But winter has fallen And so have you I look to the sky, Can you see me, Sparrow, For I can feel you.
