Im probly gonna get another HD4850 later on :)
good enough to play COD4, bioshock, GOW?
and if so, what settings?
Okay so im not doing crossfire. is that gfx card good on its own to play those games, or should i get a nvidia?

If you really think you might get another 4850, you need to get a Crossfire compatible motherboard. The nVidia SLI will only use to Nvidia cards in SLI mode. Look at motherboards with an Intel P43, P45, X38 or X48 chipset that have two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. (Some only have one x16 slot and the other x4 or less.) Also, some of those are supporting DDR3 and/or faster than PC6400 memory, so make sure to get memory to match.

Other than that, this looks like a very good set of components. You should be able to run most of the games you mentioned on fairly high graphics settings (depending on your monitor resolution) with just a single card.

If you get 4GB or more of RAM, you will need the 64-bit version of Vista or XP to use all the RAM. A single video card with 512 MB of RAM will mask 512 MB of the upper memory (making it appear as if you only have 3.5 GB of RAM installed). Two cards would mask 1 GB of RAM. Other devices like your Ethernet ports and your sound card will take a little more.
